Polkadot will launch the first blockchain education for UK MPs and policymakers.

Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBA) will launch the first policymaker-oriented learning program in the crypto industry with an aim to providing lawmakers with a better understanding of Web3 and blockchain technology.

The Blockchain Basics for Policymakers seminar, which is three days, will be hosted in Zug, Switzerland, otherwise known as Crypto Valley due to its blockchain-conducive laws, from April 6 through April 8, 2025.

Lisa Cameron, the initiator of the UKUS Crypto Alliance and a parliament member from 2015 to 2024, will chair a delegation of UK MPs representing major political parties in the inaugural course, based on a Feb. 17 announcement provided to Cointelegraph.

The course is provided at a turning point for the UK crypto market, Cameron suggests:
