Sui Blockchain Introduces Radio Waves for Cryptocurrency Transactions Without Internet Connection

The Sui blockchain is addressing the question of interrupted internet connection by working on “internet-less transactions” through mobile networks and radio waves. This innovative approach is expected to help in enabling the use of cryptos in even areas with no or very little access to the internet.

Abiodun emphasized that increasing access to financial services is a core mission. “We wanted more users to access financial services for cheap,” he said. Sui is collaborating with Chip Wireless, a Canadian mobile service provider, to pilot these ideas and is considering expansion into markets like Africa.
