Ledger partners with Exodus to introduce the new Crypto Swap Feature

Of particular importance to bitcoin and the broader crypto space, publicly listed fiat gateway company, Exodus Movement (ticker: EXOD), has agreed to a partnership with hardware layer provider, Ledger, to launch what is called a crypto swap aggregator. This new feature Leopard, dubbed XO Swap, will sit within the Ledger Live application, and enables the swapping of over 2000 crypto pairs directly from a self-custody wallet.

XO Swap means that users can use the third-party exchange API for the swap of crypto assets on-chain. This integration also fits well with Ledger’s advocacy of a multichain crypto environment and seeks to add more value-features like, user control and security than the centralized exchange platforms.

The XO Swap transactions will be executed on several third-party trading platforms, and the released assets will be delivered directly to users’ Ledger wallets. Currently offered as a desk-top service which is expected to be developed as a mobile offering in the future.

A recent revelation that Exodus Movement has been making its quarterly loss, near about $ 10 million in August 2015 as compared to a near about $ 2 million profit during the same quarter of the previous year, is using this partnership to expand the service line.
