Luca Schnetzler, CEO of the Pudgy Penguins NFT project, announces the remarkable sale of over one million plushies in the past year, marking a significant achievement for the popular NFT collection. The physical versions of the adorable Pudgy Penguin avatars have gained immense popularity, with Schnetzler expressing surprise at their unexpected success in leading the Consumer Crypto revolution.

The milestone comes on the heels of the recent expansion of Pudgy Penguins into major retailers worldwide, including a partnership with the United States retail giant Target. Despite initial challenges, including rug pull accusations against the former founder, Schnetzler's acquisition of the brand in 2022 for $2.5 million has propelled its growth and success.

Additionally, the availability of stuffed toy versions of the beloved penguins at retail giant Walmart has further contributed to their widespread appeal.
